Encore Costume in Detail Presentation - Sunday, August 10
The Madison Historical Society is pleased to announce an encore presentation of “Costume in Detail” at the Allis-Bushnell House on Sunday, August 10 at 2 pm. MHS intern Clare Barnett will discuss nineteenth- and twentieth-century dresses. Come learn about fabrics, sewing techniques, draping, and the stories that all garments tell. Gowns from our collection will be on display, and reproductions will be available to explore more fully.
Refreshments will be offered.
