Members are the heart of the Madison Historical Society. Each member is an essential part of a dedicated community of volunteers and supporters who ensure that the town's history is preserved. Your membership allows us to offer programs that engage and inform. Membership dues help us develop exceptional exhibitions that celebrate Madison and remind all citizens of our shared past. Becoming a member also helps maintain the MHS's historic properties and their remarkable collections of objects and artifacts.

NARM Benefits for Memberships of $100 and more
Thank you to all members for your ongoing essential support of the Madison Historical Society.
In 2026 and beyond, we are also pleased to offer a special benefit for all annual memberships of $100 or more. The Madison Historical Society has joined the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM). This means that MHS Friends, Patrons, Benefactors, Conservators, and Visionaries now receive FREE admission to more than 1,500 museums and cultural institutions across North America. This benefit includes more than forty destinations in Connecticut alone.
To take advantage of this new benefit, please vist Lee's Academy any Wednesday through Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, to pick up your gold NARM sticker. Affix your sticker to your MHS membership card and simply present it at any participating NARM museum to enjoy free admission.
