Your gift helps us...
Maintain Iconic Structures
The Allis-Bushnell House and Lee's Academy are living community resources that requires regular maintenance and upkeep. These structures are the keystone of the Society’s mission to encourage broad public engagement through exhibits, educational programs, publications, and events.
Continue Education Programming
Our education programs expand the learning process well beyond mere observation of the objects and offer visitors the chance to discover the people, places, and events that shaped and defined our past. We believe that constant references to common past experiences nurture and sustain a sense of community that links past, present, and future.
Preserve Fragile Artifacts
The Madison Historical Society cares for a large and important collection of objects. Long-term artifact preservation and storage is important to ensure that artifacts can remain a tangible, visible part of our cultural history for years to come.
